Why Amanah?
Because every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and valued — especially those who have experienced family breakdown or trauma. Amanah is an Arabic word meaning “a trust held with responsibility.” That is exactly how we see every child in our care: a sacred trust from their families, their community, and from Allah.
At Amanah Community Centre, we provide more than just accommodation — we offer a nurturing, culturally respectful, faith-aligned environment where Muslim children in state care can rebuild their sense of identity, hope, and purpose.
We understand the unique needs of children from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Our support is holistic, trauma-informed, and deeply community-driven. We don’t just care for our children — we care with the heart of the community, for their future and their journey toward a better world.
Amanah is not just a name. It’s our promise.
Cultural Celebrations
Our community centre takes kids to Eid ceremonies so they can enjoy the celebration, feel connected to their faith, and be part of a caring community. It's a day full of joy, prayer, and belonging.
Games and Activities
Our community centre offers a wide range of fun and engaging indoor games and activities designed to support learning, creativity, and social development. From arts and crafts to puzzles, storytelling, and imaginative play, every activity is thoughtfully planned to keep children active, happy, and growing in a safe indoor environment.
